Bissell Vacuum Cleaners

I purchased this vacuum recently. The first time I used it, I loved it! The pet turbo brush worked wonders getting the dog hair off of my couch. I tried to use the turbo brush for a second time and the brush won’t rotate. I visited Bissell.com and contacted customer service. They had me check a few things and then just sent me a new turbo brush. I received the new turbo brush today, and it does not rotate either. Is there some trick to get this thing to work that I am forgetting??? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
