Bissell Powertrak Revolution Vacuum

Here is my Bissell vacuuming up everything that the Panasonic left behind. This vacuum was another trash find. The brush roll was shot, but the vacuum worked fine. I found another nearly identical vacuum a week or so later, which had the cord cut off. The brush roll was fine on it, though it was a different color… new belt and set of filters later, and I have a nearly new vacuum. They still sell this model at the local wal-mart. I think the only difference is that it’s a different color.

    lol… nice bissell. my dad has the new eureka capture plus pet lovers vacuum cleaner and we killed it with not even 5 hrs of use on it..

    very true. this one had a seized brush roll, and I replaced it with one from an identical vacuum that had a burnt out motor. while the Bissell works food for the price it would have cost new, things just aren’t built to last like they used to be. About the only current vacuums that I see lasting ten or more years with normal to heavy use would be Kirbys, Tristars, Filter Queens etc. – vacuums that cost a lot more but are made from more than just injection molded plastic.

    That Panasonic is at least 15 years old. A Bissell that can make it to 2 years is gifted.

    No the fan in the Panasonic is loose and the belts are shot. The bag was new. The Bissell will pretty much out-vacuum everything I have except for the Classic Omega.
