Wow it’s almost … Wow it’s almost like vacuums have just gotten cheaper and cheaper. I bet that thing out preforms many newer vacuums. I never knew they had uprights back then with hose converters.
thanks to a piece … thanks to a piece of advice you submitted on ebay for a fan chamber for a 543/700 etc model i was able to buy that fan chamber for $3.49 for my 543! it was much needed, thanks!
It wasn’t in such … It wasn’t in such amazing shape when I got it – like most of my cleaners, although it ran fine, it needed a little cosmetic work to get it looking like new. Have a look on my website on the ‘Before and After’ page, to see the difference restoration makes!
It sure would be … It sure would be nice to find a vacuum cleaner made like that today. I don’t know of any that is made out of metal and that has a steel impeller.
Where did you get … Where did you get this amazing hoover in such pristine shape? I have seen alot on ebay but none as clean and as new looking as yours. My dream hoover is a 63 or 64
Many do – they just … Many do – they just lack the build quality. Nothing today comes close; how many Dysons will still be going strong at 80+ years?! lol

Great old machine, though. Why don’t today’s machines have all of those features?
